Thomas Weber's work explores pushing the physical limits of clay. He appreciates textures found in nature and copies them into his work. He received his Bachelor in Arts at San Diego State University under famed ceramicist Richard Burkett. There he completed a portfolio of figurative sculpture and was introduced to the scientific intricacies of clay and glazes. His body of work opened doors for him at San Francisco State University where he was accepted into the Master of Fine Arts program. He continues exploring the medium of clay and stretching it to it's limits. His work has been shown in several group shows that have gained him recognition.
